“This boutique hotel just re-opened. Everything is very chic and squeaky clean. It was very lightly booked when I went so the staff were incredibly attentive. They're still working a few bugs out, but everything was pretty smooth. For example, there weren't instructions on parking, but when I arrived, I called their number. “Smooth with parking under the hotel. It feels like a rough neighborhood and it doesn’t feel safe to walk in the surroundings. But well inside the hotel, the staff is caretaking and friendly. The ice machine drove my brother nuts in the middle of the night and they have to do something about the carpet in the hallway because it smells like cat*iss. The breakfast needs som cheese and ham and perhaps som greens to comply with the term “continental breakfast””

The front desk staff were excellent and the ladies working the breakfast service were outstanding. Note: adding gluten free items to the breakfast is easy (Cheerios, GF bread for toast).”

“We had in mind that it was a 2-star hotel but some basic things like being clean was something we expected. The towels were dirty with stains on them and when we asked to get them changed out they said they had to go in the basement and wash some because they didn’t have more towels to give. The towels they brought the day after were even more stained and even had a giant hole in it (see the picture). The furniture had stains on them and we avoided sitting on them at all costs. “If you're looking for a place to just lay your head for the night this could be your place. If you're looking for comfort, look elsewhere. The room smelled like cigarettes, the shower and toilet were dirty and there were lots of noise through the night. When I searched for the rooms, I indicated 2 adults and 3 children, somehow it got booked as 1 adult and 3 kids and we had to pay an additional $50 at check-in. Parking is extremely tight so if you have a large suv, do not stay here.”
