“Really enjoyed our stay here. The weather happened to be very warm while we were there. The pool full of cold mountain water together with the heat turned into a spa like experience. Would definitely go back. ”

“Paulo, the owner, was very attentive and friendly and gave us wonderful service. We were late for check-in and Paulo greeted us after 11pm with a big smile. He gave us all the information we needed, including tips on Portuguese cuisine. The property consists of an old Portuguese house, from the 1800s. It is charming, clean, and has everything we needed for a good night's sleep.”

“The value is really great and it was the best equipped, most private, and cleanest place I've ever stayed at. The hosts were remarkably warm, helpful, and friendly, and the house was charming with nice outdoor options--garden, patio/balcony, bbq, and just down the road a beautiful little river with places to swim with no one around. This is a perfect refuge, great place to restore yourself.”

“I can highly recommend the house and the super friendly welcome by the owners. The cottage is cosy and very well equipped, there is a covered summer kitchen in the courtyard and lovely sunbathing areas on the lawn. Everything is well kept and clean. The house is secluded in the middle of fields, olive groves and vineyards. You can take beautiful walks directly from the house. The very little frequented motorway is easy to reach and you can easily get to other places: e.g. to the many castle...
