âIt is located at the edge of the Valley of the Kings. There is an unobstructed and wonderful view of the mountains. The entry area is spacious and decorated nicely. The rooms have high ceilings and are equiped with fans or A/C units and have good bath and kitchen areas. The residential area is teaming with the life of Luxor and you are enveloped by the sounds for the call to prayer throughout the day and evening. Being there is an enriching experience. â
âThe New Memnon is located within walking distance to some of the most interesting sites on the West Bank. Fifteen minutes to Deir el Medina and Medinet Habu and only slightly farther to the Valley of the Queens and the Ramesseum. Thatâs probably one reason it is popular with archaeologists.
Ifâs well kept, with very helpful personnel. The food is very good. If you want dinner you talk to them earlier in the day and they prepare something with care. That makes for great food, but I would prefer...
âI was very welcomed by Mohamad, the owners son. I had a good size 2 bed room with a balcony that you could see a temple and the air balloons taking off from a beautiful green field. The room was clean, with towels, soap, and a hot shower. Breakfast was delicious with tea, fresh bread, fresh cheese, yogurt, and honey. Iâm very grateful to have found this Gem for my Luxor visit. I will definitely be back here. â

I was surprised at how fast the Wi-Fi was. Breakfast is delivered to your room.
And what made me happiest was that there was cold beer in the refrigerator, available at Egyptian prices.â
âGreat Stay in Luxor, honestly for being in Egypt, its pretty decent especially; A/C, comfy bed, refrigerator, balcony; its not bad. Shower, sink and toilet area is decent but leaks at times (the seal in the shower area and door does not completely closed) however it does function and it doesnât take away from you using the bathroom.
Great Service (family owned) so you can ask them anything and they will provide to you! Extra toilet paper and shower shampoo gels youâll have to ask for....
