“Lovely clean room, bed comfortable, shower hot and breakfast excellent . Do not try to get into your room before 4pm, not even by 5 minutes.”

“Large room, helpful staff, lovely breakfast. Generally very clean although carpets were stained in places which didn't look great.”

“The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean it just lacked air con and with a tiny bedroom window regardless on the heating not being on there was hardly and airflow within the room. Couldnt fault anything else had a lovely stay”

“Staff was very friendly upon check in. The carpets on the way to the room were quite dirty and the bathroom floor hadn’t been mopped properly for a while - it was filthy. I spilt a little water onto the floor and as I wiped it with some tissue paper it was totally brown due to the dirt on the floor. It was 30 degrees celsius at least due to the heatwave, during my first night’s stay I noticed there was no fan. The following morning around 10am I asked the cleaner for a fan, she said they didn’t...

“We had a fantastic stay at the Victoria. The family who owns this hotel are very helpful and nice. The location is excellen in Malhamdale with easy acess to hiking trails. Wonderful nature just out of the door. The hotel has a pub so no need to leave the village in the evening although Malham is only a 20 min walk away. We will stay here again! ”

“This is a small hotel which has been decorated well. the staff are friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was really good The rooms are clean and lovely. However, there is no lift and there are 3 floors. there isn't a large separate lounge. However ,the views are amazing.”

“Check-in was a faff. Expedia states 15:00 check in but there is a note on the door which says 16:00. The door was locked, we couldn’t wait until 16:00. We phoned and finally managed to speak to someone who opened the door and checked us in. The room was clean but needs some TLC - marks on the inside of the door at the bottom and some damage in places to the roof. No instructions on checkout and again the pub door was locked so we just put the key through the door.”

“The Red Dragon is advertised as "Has Onsite parking Very Rare for location. That was the reason we booked it. When we arrived we discovered it has zero parking. The manager and staff apologised and advised where we should park. the town is short of longterm parking. We ended up spening a lot of time driving around and paying a lot for overnight parking. The rooms are fine. the breakfast very good, the Staff friendly and helpful”

“Very friendly staff, nice big room (called falow), excellent breakfast, excellent evening meal staff very helpful sorting out a taxi for us, the room was warm due to heatwave so needed to keep windows open so we did notice some noise from the kitchen fans but this could not be helped. Very good car parking. Overall an excellent 2 day visit and would highly recommend.”

“The accommodation was OK considering the room was above the karaoke bar and facing the street where loads of people were drinking loudly. Minor problems included an amply shower gel dispenser in the shower.”
