“Get placement. 20 minutes from Orillia, 30 minutes from Wasaga. Lots of open space on the property and private. Great brewery nearby as well!Loved this place for a family getaway”

“Quiet area in New neighborhood. Firepit in open yard backing onto wooded area made it have a country feeling.”

“We recently stayed at this cottage outside of Gravenhurst, and it was by far the worst vacation rental we have ever experienced. The property was not just dated—it was filthy and appeared to have been neglected. Upon arrival, there were no kitchen cloths, no paper towels, and only a 2 half rolls of toilet paper with no extras provided. The cottage smelled strongly of cigarette smoke mixed with mould. The dishwasher was full of partially cleaned dishes, and several kitchen cupboard doors were...

“It's the perfect cottage and the most hospitable, helpful, kind hosts! Thank you for a fantastic weekend getaway!”

“Every thing is good the place is clean and accommodation is good. The lake needs to be cleaned it’s full of water lilies kayak and canoe weren’t possible my grandkids really wanted to do it. Thank you.”

The property was extremely dirty and dusty, poorly maintained, and nothing like what was advertised on Expedia. Here are the major issues we experienced: * Poor cleanliness: The property was dusty and dirty, including dirty dishes in the kitchen. * Safety concerns: The ceiling was falling apart, the stairs were broken,...

“Bathroom floors and vanity not clean, sheets on one bed seemed damp, back porch was not clean, many days not clean, sliding doors had cobwebs at all corners, no screen door here, steps from parking to door in very poor, dangerous condition, kayaks were not cleaned off and made ready for use. This cottage had not been made ready for guests. Concerned that vrbo is advertising for unkept property. We wasted time, money, dreams of a wonderful weekend ruined!!”

“First, the positive. The cabin was clean and was dry during a lot of rain. The location is on the water and close to Gravenhurst. We arrived at the cabin not having received an email with check in instructions. There is no office there. Thankfully the cleaning lady let us in. We had called the host twice and messaged on VRBO inbox twice. It wasn’t until I texted him that he responded. I had asked prior to going if there was a coffee maker and was told no, yet there was one and I hadn’t brought...
