Renters beware!

I’ve heard horror stories of folks renting from companies like Vacasa, but finally experienced first hand the type of treatment and care they show their customers. Let me start by saying it was a cute cabin, but the hot tub was at 60 degrees when we checked in (and there was standing water in the dishwasher) which we reported immediately. A technician showed up to fix the hot tub in a few hours, and although he was sweet and kind, he spent no time in determining the issue. He simply flipped a switch, filled it up and said it would be at a functional temperature by morning. The tub was only 58 degrees the next morning and we called Vacasa immediately and asked to cancel with a refund to be able to book a cabin with the amenities we required. We lost over 2 hours of our vacation time on the phone with customer service. We are avid hikers and enjoy coffee in the hot tub in morning before our trek, as well as soak in the evenings, so a nonfunctional hot tub is unacceptable. We were told by the Vacasa rep that cancellation would result in no refund and that they would not move us, only send another tech. I will never again use a rental management company. I will stick to individuals and people with a real face in their profile. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this cabin and management company.

Hidden Gem

Great location if you are looking to stay near the Peaceful Side! Less than 30 minutes to Cades Cove Loop. Property was quiet, great scenery, and secluded from the road. Cabin was very clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked with paper goods as well as a good starter amount of dishwasher and laundry tabs. Definitely would stay here again!

Amazing Mountain View!!

This property was perfect for our first night in TN! After a long drive from where we live it was just what we needed to relax and enjoy nature. The views are breathtaking and we enjoyed our stay. Will definitely come back to stay next time we are in town! Only thing that could have made it a little better was if the cabin had at least one bundle of firewood. The page doesn’t show that you have to bring your own firewood and as the fireplace is an amenity most rentals provide enough for at least one night. Once we saw in the book inside the cabin that we needed our own firewood it was too late. We did not want to navigate mountain roads in the dark in hopes of finding a place who sells it. So next time we will just make sure to have some on hand. All in all you can’t beat this cabin and the views. Thank you for making our first night amazing!!!

Better than expected

The pictures do not do it justice. The view is awesome. The area is still in construction and this noise could be heard during the day. But we were gone most days doing activities. It was very quiet in the evenings. Will book again!

Beautiful area

The place was amazing and very clean. Even had 2 black bears securing the back of the cabin. Definitely recommend it. I called to get the propane refill and it was delivered with in the hour. The only downfall fall was no washer and dryer, and the outlet on the bach porch didn't work.

Wonderful Experience!

This property was perfect for my husband and I along with our infant. The location was perfect for anyone looking to be in a secluded area with a view, but also was a short drive to tourist destinations. The cabin was clean and sanitized up our arrival. All amenities functioned as expected, and the hot tub was a nice bonus. We will definitely be booking again.

Views are amazing

My husband and I spent our honeymoon there and it was perfect. Close to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge, but far enough away from the crowds of ppl. It had everything we needed for the week. Very clean and matched all the photos that were posted on this property. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be staying there again.
