“It was a great location for our group of 15 adults and 2 toddlers. We had several close up interactions with a mama bear and 3 babies on the balcony, so stay alert when coming and going. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our big group. The only critiques we had echo what others have said here: place needs a deep clean. “Its a beautiful cabin with everything you need. Very quite area with nice views. The driveway is steep, but it isn't bad with a 4x4 vehicle. I became an expert driving up it after a few times. We enjoyed watching the bears from the upper deck and we did see a mama bear with 3 cubs playing in the road. Highly recommend staying here. ”

“One of our kiddos wanted to take her Senior Trip to the Smokies, and this cabin was perfect for us. I NEVER go barefooted in a cabin, but I did at this one. The floors were the cleanest we have ever had. We set new high scores on the arcade game, but I'm sure that you can beat them. We played pool, and we played in the river. It was close to everything that we needed and wanted! It was great!”

“We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. All of the kids and grandkids enjoyed it. The air hockey table was a hit and we all used the theater room for different things. We had a family game night. We had a movie night. We also did a couple of nights of karaoke in the theater room. The kids told me we should just get this cabin every year.”

“My family and I had a great time staying at this home. The house met all of our expectations not the mention the beautiful view. We have vacation there many times in the past and this home was by far the best. Gary and Jennifer did an excellent job at the organization and design and decor of their home. If you and your family or even if you have a large gathering please consider this home for your stay , you will not regret it. The view is absolutely spectacular! This home gets five stars ”

Turns out, small windy mountain roads give me anxiety but it was the only place we saw a bear even though we spent hours in the Smokey mountains Any questions or concerns I had was quickly answered by our hostMy only complaints are as follows - Fan in master bedroom couldn’t be used- cleanliness wasn’t quite up to my standards - foosball table didn’t have balls - checkers table didn’t have enough pieces As I told our host, none of these things were an inconvenience to us....

"Lovely and cute inn close to the Smokies. Felt very homely with great service and staff. Perfect for single traveler or couples. On the slightly ”bad” side was my bed that was slightly too soft and ready for an update. Right next to the highway with gives great access however bit noicy when using the balcony. "
