Awesome Stay in Shandon

The Shandon House is incredible and a great place to stay. We truly enjoyed the home, pool, jacuzzi, and the kitchen is amazing! It is quiet and peaceful and all the bedrooms were great. The property manager was helpful upon arrival and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back!

Better than advertised

We rented this property for a group of 16 celebrating multiple 40th birthdays. It was the perfect accommodation for our group. Great home base for wine tasting adventures and visiting Sensorio. The biggest surprise was just how amazing the views were from the pool area. The pictures just can’t capture how breathtaking those views are.

Wonderful Property

We celebrated a friend's 50th birthday party. We were a group of 6 couples and this house was perfect for us. Views are amazing, just east of Paso Robles. House was beautiful and we had an amazing stay.

great end of summer get away

Perfect place for end of summer getaway with friends! We had four families and enjoyed afternoons by the pool, epic dinners cooked in the amazing kitchen and on the BBQ, poker and games in the family room, and yoga with views from second floor and pooiside There was plenty of space for all 15 of us adults and teenagers. We only wish that the house was closer to the wineries! There were a few hiccups which the management addressed promptly.

August 2022 Stay

Lovely home, amazing setting. Perfect for our Great grandpa get-together. Not having to be careful about noise disturbing the neighbors is a HUGE benefit. We spent most of our time on the patio. We brought cornhole boards and played amazing sunset games. The house is beautiful, but the sunsets were spectacular. It was a bit pricey, but the &amity enjoyed it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you don't mind a 15-20 minute drive to town, this place is amazing! It's views are unmatched and it's so quiet and isolated, in the best way. The pool is gorgeous (be sure to ask to have it heated for an extra cost). The hot tub, once we got the maintenance man to get it up and running, was a welcomed amenity in the cooler evenings. The bedrooms all have their own bathrooms which creates such a nice division and privacy for large groups. The only bedroom with out a full bath is the bunk bed room. The great room and kitchen are roomy and comfortable. This place really has everything you need to enjoy a family reunion, a bachelorette party, a 50th birthday celebration and so much more!

A weekend of good vibes, great food, and beautiful Sunsets

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my second time staying at this house, and just like last year it did not disappoint. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for you you cook up a feast. You can enjoy the feast as you watch sunset over the rolling hills that stretch out forever, then enjoy the night sky in all its glory as there is very little light pollution. The house is very luxurious and accommodating, and I lover how they have upgraded their systems to make things easier, such as the spa which is now an easy 1 button push to start! Looking forward to staying again next year!

Far enough away from neighbors that you can be a little loud.We had a family reunion and everyone (infant to 78) had a great time. We spent the days in the pool and evenings watching spectacular sunsets. Also saw some great bugs! They were all harmless, but really interesting, especially to the 5&6 year olds.I can’t say enough bout the PRVR staff. Very responsive and helpful.Great house, great location, great experience.I would recommend bringing a non-slip bath mat for the master shower, though

Hilltop Tuscan Getaway

Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect place for our reunion of college roomies-we liked that it is @20 miles away from town, on its own hilltop with pretty outdoors (although quite sunny with no umbrellas and little covering from outdoor sun). Big problem- spa quits heating at 10- should be at least 11 pm. Several complaints regarding condition of mattresses and low water pressure in showers. One toilet had problems. Disappointed that most remote controls were with old or empty of batteries. Also, the house has a sound system but we were given no instructions on how to operate- for music. Lots of towels and kitchen equipment ! We definitely enjoyed our stay- visiting wineries, Sensorio, downtown, etc. Hope this helps you make a few improvements.

The pool and hot tub are fantastic, and the kitchen is perfect for cooking and serving amazing meals. The house is in a beautiful location on a hill with an amazing view, but the seclusion means that restaurants and grocery stores are about 20 miles out (so you have to prepare for that). Regardless, we would stay here again in the future.

We finally found a house that fit everyone in our large group

At one time, we had six people cooking, and nobody was in each other's way. having two living rooms was a welcome plus; the kids could watch their show while the adults watched theirs. Overall a very comfortable house that we will be rebooking.

September 2022 Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shandan house. There were 7 couples and we had plenty of space for shared times as well as alone time. The kitchen had any utensil or amenity you can think of. The view was breathtaking and we really enjoyed spending time outside or in the jacuzzi.

Family Getaway

Spectacular House!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for my friend's bachelorette party and we were blown away with the house! It was even better in person than what was shown in the pictures! We were in awe from the moment we drove up the epic driveway that was framed with the tall Italian Cypress Trees, to the top of the hill where the house stood with amazing views all around! We had plenty of room for the 14 of us, and everybody slept very comfortably. If there was any time that someone wanted to take a nap or a break in the middle of the day, it was no issue for them to retreat and have peace and quiet. That's how massive this house is! It was absolutely perfect for us. The staff at Paso Rentals were incredible in answering any questions we had throughout our stay. We had a little issue with the hot tub and pool heating and they did everything they could do to solve the issue. Although it didn't get resolved during our stay- they reimbursed us the heating fee which was greatly appreciated! Amazingggg customer service! The house is fully stocked with everything you need to cook meals there, and the bar has an ice machine which was great for making drinks, etc. The onlyyy con of our stay was the little black bugs that seemed to be everywhere when you went outside. They were mainly attracted to light colors (so if you were wearing white you would have them all over) and a few of my friends said they felt little bites/stings from them, but nothing that lasted or caused redness. So they were relatively harmless but quite annoying. I had never seen that type of bug before, and they could have just been during the Springtime but the pool was also filled with them, so it was helpful to get the pool cleaner going as much as possible. Nonetheless, we loveeddddd our time here and would highly recommend it!!
