“The weather played havoc with our Memorial Day weekend plans, but we still managed to have a great time. We ended up spending far more time in the Robin’s Nest than originally planned, so I feel confident in saying it was a comfortable home away from home for us. We made a couple of meals and streamed some movies on the smart TV, but mostly we lounged around when we weren’t out seeing the soggy sights.”

Surfaces were sticky, dishes in the cupboard were dirty, the shower had not been cleaned, the toilet was broken, much of the furniture was unstable, including the beds, one of which had a loose pillar, the other with a headboard that was not attached to anything. The entrance through the carport was dangerous and ill-smelling. There was no functioning key to the front door, so entrance had to be made through the carport every time. “Greetings & salutations,This is my 1st VRBO booking and there were no surprises other than, how big and fully stocked the kitchen was! The pictures do the place justice, great mattresses on all the beds. Great fire pit and decks. We ran out of Body wash and before you know it, Door dash dropped some off (thank you Beth!!)Definitely like being at a nice hotel, no stripping of beds, just run the dishwasher and take out the trash. “What a pleasure! Both the accommodations and our Host! The home was on a very quiet street within walking distance of town. Exceptionally well appointed and very updated (in fact it appears to be brand new). Communication was great, we had zero issues. We were overjoyed with the coffee set up (we’re big coffee lovers), more choices for brewing than you can imagine! “A very fine house perfect for 6 people. Kitchen nicely provisioned with all the essentials. Nice covered deck and parking for one car at the house. Excellent location near Harper’s Ferry and surrounding towns. Recommended.”

“We had a slight hiccup when checking in, but it was quickly remedied. House was great with lots of living space for our large group to spread out. I would definitely rent again and will if we are in this area again (likely since our daughter lives in the area). Kitchenware was adequate for our needs. Could have used a few more towels. We weren’t able to reach the host near the end of the trip (asking about the towels) but most needs were met by the management company. Had to add one more day...
