The room was very cold - when reported they did not move me to a new room but brought up an old oil filled radiator - which they said they had been using in reception - it was dirty and had a broken foot so was wobbly.

Generally OK
All good except lack of 13amp sockets, only 1 in a large room is ridiculous with so many of today’s charger powered devices Wouldn’t like to stay if there was a football match on... parking!

Nicely decorated, fan/temp control poor
Check in was fine, room was clean and nicely presented. Our biggest issues were that the room was boiling. There was a fan which was supposed to control temperature, but even when we put the temp to lowest and the force to highest it did nothing to cool the room. It was about 4-5 degrees outside, so not as if it should have been that warm.

Perfect room
Was really nicely lit and had superb darkness in the morning which I love! Really nice modern hotel with free parking too. Excellent will stay again.

Overnight stay
Overnight stop. Friendly staff on arrival. Nice big room, though the rooms are slightly dark. Good breakfast booked on arrival for lower than the website prices. Late (for us) bar with attentive bar staff. Only real criticism was the lightweight shower curtain that kept blowing in and sticking whilst trying to shower (shudders). This was mentioned on check out and we were advised they are due to be changed.

Looks the part, doesn't quite act it.
The hotel overall was fine, but it felt very antiquated. Charging for movies instead of offering smart TV capabilities for Netflix or Prime is almost 2010 standard. Only offering non standard plugs next to the beds (for some unknown reason) feels almost malicious. The fridge wasn't ... *Cold*, just, a lil chilly. The bathroom advertised in the pictures wasn't what I received :( Otherwise, the place was comfy, and the staff didn't bother me much. So all in all, decent.

The staff are fantastic - helpful, smart cheerful and chatty . Noticeably better than other hotels I’ve stayed in. Excellent breakfast nice coffee..Nice room , clean modern and stylish. Comfy bed , coffee and tea, shower and bath.. good value . I’ll be back !

Room was satisfactory, location was a walk to the centre of Sheffield. I picked up some food on the way back to the hotel as it was cold and rainy and I wasn’t planning on going out for dinner, when I asked the staff at the hotel bar if they could warm the food for me in the microwave I was told “it’s against hotel policy to use the microwave for outside (?) food”....Don’t stay here, the staff can’t even spell service!
