Hotell i Sheldrake Lake

“I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn since I was a child in the 70's (in Bethesda in Maryland). Nearly 50 years later I stayed at the Holiday Inn at Halifax Airport mainly because of my late arrival at the airport and it was really nice. I stayed in a suite on the third floor and it was spacious, quiet and very clean. The staff in general at the hotel were all very pleasent and helpful. Some of the furniture in the room seemed to be from the 70's and the wooden knives and forks in the breakfast...

“The front desk man was not very helpful when i asked him if there were any good pizza places to eat. He told me that we have a restaurant here so eat here. Meanwhile we found out later that there were pizza brochures beside the front desk. Also for the price of the room, they only cleaned it every other day which is ridiculous. There were teenagers running up & down the hallways making noise.”

“I wish we had a tae kettle and some coffee in our room . But aside from that the room was beautiful clean and the bed was like a cloud . The pool was chaos with kids barrling down the water slide right on top of other guests without waiting and following safety measures and the parents were doing nothing . The bar had a screaming baby being tended to a father who was holding his beer and the kids were allowed to stay in the bar area well past 1am. I loved my stay and the hotel and staff were...

“There were no staff, it was self check in and there was coffee, water, juice and yogurt in the common area. The bagged “lunch” was in your room, it had an apple, orange, banana bread, chocolate chip muffin, small granola bar and a krispie crunch. The website did not say that the restaurant was not open 7 days per week. It is an easy walk to the grocery stores and local restaurants. The mattress was awful, it was so soft you sank into it, I slept on the floor. The noise barrier to the upper...

“A new hotel with a fun theme and great location. Unfortunately very loud doors, lots of sounds during day and night. Cold room with no working AC/temperature. ”

“Breakfast was amazing, rooms were clean and spacious. Location was great to get to Halifax activities. We rented a car so the drive was not hard or far to get to the waterfront. Would definitely stay again. Great value for price.”

“Unable to secure room with my visa. Had to call a friend to come there and use theirs. beer cost 2x more than downtown bars They try to keep selling you food at the bar with every drink. Even if you say not ordering tonight. Extra unexplained charge on the room on top of the room price... I wont be back.”
