“My bestie and I came gor the first few days then my daughter and her family joined us for the holiday weekend. I dont even know where to begin. The house and property are more beautiful than the pictures that are on line. The town is amazing and friendly. The little bistro coffee shop has amazing food. Back to the house. So welcoming and comfortable. Each room of the house has its own personality. The zen/yoga room was a great place to unwind and stretch. The hot tub was perfect after a long day...

“Such a beautiful cottage. Has everything you need. Full kitchen, games, puzzles, outdoor furniture, cozy beds. The view is breathtaking! Highly recommend. We didnt want to leave!”

“Loved the house! Super cute and spacious, great kitchen, option to use the garage was great, everything! Only slight complaint is all the beds feel like basically the same fairly hard foam which I didn’t really like, but otherwise it was an almost perfect stay. Will definitely think about staying again if I can make it back to Shelter Cove.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean and comfortable. The view from the rear deck is wonderful. Our only disappointment was that the outdoor couch featured in the photos was not usable since cushions were nowhere to be found. And the deck chairs are pretty rickety. The grill could use some attention. Overall, a great place. ”

“The house was perfect for our needs. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had every appliance known to man, and the views were spectacular. We would definitely come back! Notes for Shelter Cove: visit the Black Sand Beach and the tide pools below the lighthouse. Monitor the tides for the best times to go. Surf Point Coffeehouse has fantastic breakfast and lunch. Gyppo Ale Mill was our choice for two dinners and has a great cheeseburger, fried chicken sandwich, French fries, and limeade.”

“You open the front door and there it is.....ocean view. Close to a private beach with tons of sealife. A perfect place to getaway”

“Lovely location to sit and relax or find an adventure like hiking various trails from very challenging to very easy. Great wildlife viewing opportunities as well.”

“We have been coming to Eagle’s Nest with our family for years. It feels like staying with family- so comfortable and welcoming . Love the view, easy location to everything. I daydream about Shelter Cove, and this cozy home, through the rest of the year!”

We had everything we needed and had zero complaints.My children loved the lower level entertainment room while the parents were able to have some peace and quiet upstairs.Will definitely look forward to staying again the next time we visit!”

“The house was lovely, comfortable and well stocked. There is road noise, but that just means you can hop on the freeway to some amazing hikes and be there in 15 minutes. We especially enjoyed Drury-Chaney trail. My teens loved the swimming hole right down the hill where they jumped off rocks and swung on a rope swing.”

“Had a great time with the family. Perfect house to play board games, cook family meals, and host a Murder Mystery Dinner party. Shelter cove was a perfect quaint beach town to relax and enjoy the coast line, with many wonderful hikes near buy. The Host were wonderful to work with and the house was perfectly stocked with all the essentials. would highly recommend staying in this beautiful house.”

“This property was fully equipped, has beautiful views of the ocean sitting above the road, is two stories ,has a deck on second floor and is walking distance to state beach. While water is reported potable it has a horrible color, which the owner fully disclosed so take you drinking water. ”

View!

"The view was amazing, just by the sea. I really enjoyed hearing the sea when going to bed. Neighbourhood calm and quiet. We booked an apartment for our one night stay w the family. Appreciated the contactless check in as we were running late and checked in late. It was smooth! I am a wheelchair user and I knew our place not to be completely ADA but hotels.com did state that the apartment was on the bottom floor, this was not the case when we arrived. I emailed the hotel a few days before our arrival w questions like this but they didn’t respond. No batteries for the fireplace. The beds where clean but other places - drawers in the bathroom were full of hairs, dusty furniture. "
