“The house was clean and comfortable in a very nice area. Good communication, easy check in, and parking in front”

“We rented this home for our daughter’s college graduation and were fully transparent with the owner beforehand. Although the listing allows up to 15 guests, we never exceeded 14 people, and the gathering was simply close family, including grandparents and young children. There was no party or disruptive behavior.Around 10:30 PM on graduation night, the owner began repeatedly messaging me, saying he was “watching the house” and accusing us of violating the rental agreement. The constant, late...

“Definitely a great place to stay! We all were comfortable and enjoyed our time. We will definitely stay there again for future trips. Everything was very clean. Lots of towels. Extra blankets and pillows. And there were plenty of things to be able to cook to avoid eating out. Super pleased!”

“The property was nice inside as the pictured showed. The stairs are steep. A few things need updates like the sliding glass doors to the pool and mud room. The pool is great, large, and clean. The backyard area beyond the pool is not well maintained with lots of weeds and critters back there. “La Caistas Retreat was a wonderful experience. The place was very clean and cozy. We visited with 2 of my adult children and their significant others and had plenty of room. The host, Sujata, was very informative amd checked in daily. The check-in and out were very smooth. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting New Haven!!!!”

“We had just a short stay but it was perfect for what we needed. The home was very clean and exactly as advertised. It is a great quiet neighborhood feel and comfortable home for our family and pets. Would highly recommend.”

“Ok so generally I do not leave comments, but this one deserves it. The Host was absolutely amazing. She communicated quickly and made check in very easy. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking purposes. We did an event for my MIL 70th birthday and it was spacious. The centerpiece on the table helps give it an elegant touch. I loved that each room had its own code for privacy and bathrooms on each floor. The basement apartment was nice and I loved that it...

“This apartment was wonderful - clean, well stocked, and cute. Aside from the proximity to the train tracks (although earplugs were thoughtfully provided), the location was great - close to the highway and more importantly Dairy Queen.”
