“We absolutely loved our time at this home. It was my 60th birthday and my husband and I invited two couples to join us. My husband surprised me with a chef from DC who cooked us an amazing 5 course meal that we ate on the huge deck under a full blue moon! Between courses we moved over to the gas "fire-pit". The afternoon was spent having Negroni's on the dock at the river. The house is perfect- views are incredible, kitchen was obviously well stocked (the chef had no issues:-)), the master bed...

“Everything went smoothly. The house was very clean and updated. Beds were very comfortable. The rural setting was nice yet it was convenient to Harpers Ferry and Charles Town. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. The owner communicated well and was helpful. Great stay.”

“This is a wonderful spot to stay when visiting Harpers Ferry. The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need. Their home is neat, clean and convenient to all the things you want to do on a visit to the National Park. Although there were only two of us on this trip, the home could easily handle a family of 5. I would say that all you have to do is bring your toothbrush, but the hosts even supplied toothbrushes in the master bath! An incredible value.”

“The property was oversold online to make it look like it had a view of the nearby canal, but it didn't. While I understand the house was 170 years old, it felt like it could fall apart with a false move. The main floor had several chairs, but no couch. The stairs to the top floor were very narrow and you had to be careful going up and down.
