“Had a wonderful stay. Beautiful house and area. Really did have everything one could need! Check in process was easy and information sent well before hand. The third room isn’t strictly a room - mattresses on raised wooden frames in low ceiling space off one of the main rooms. This wasn’t a problem for us though. We couldn’t find how to get to the river (maybe it’s just us!) - some more specific directions might be helpful for future guests”

“Great location, secluded away from other houses. Walk to river was a well cleared, short trail. We had a great time and our golden doodle didn’t want to leave. She was laying under the nice shade tree in the front yard as we packed up and ignored us when it was time to get in the car”

“We had a great stay at the farmhouse at Peaks of Otter Winery in Bedford, VA! My husband & I needed rest and relaxation and the stay at Elmo's Rest farmhouse did not disappoint!! It's remote enough in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains for peace & quiet but close enough to town (about 17 minute drive) to get to the grocery store, gas station, and very yummy Joe's Coffee Shack where I got a Caramel Machiatto everyday :) Definitely book this if you want to retreat and spend time alone or with...
