“This charming inn is an excellent accommodation for families. With two bedrooms, our family of five enjoyed a comfortable and spacious stay. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a second-floor bathroom, which meant we needed to descend to the ground floor each time we required restroom facilities. Despite this small drawback, the inn was otherwise exceptional and met all our needs perfectly.”

“If one is looking for a western-style hotel, this is the wrong place. On the other hand, if one is looking for living (mostly) like a Japanese family would, in a real Japanese neighborhood, then you are looking at the right place. This place is 100% Japanese except that it has 2 full-size western beds, which is not common. And, it has a modern Japanese toilet (heated seat, ETC.) which, I'm guessing, is not too common in 'normal' homes due to their expense. The two 'issues' for us were:...

“Beautiful traditional machiya very close to transit and walkable to many places. Laundry on the corner and grocery around the block. The stairs to the second floor were quite steep and the first floor could have used some more furniture, but really no real complaints ”
