âWe stayed here for two nights and very happy with our stay. The room was fresh, spacious and tastefully decorated, and the staffs were friendly and helpful. Itâs located right by the city center, and we could find many nice cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood. The water pipe? drainage? sound was rather loud when guests above our room was using shower, but otherwise everything was great! We would gladly stay here again.â

The room was clean and as expected a bit small but LARGE for Japan . The only thing that I would change is Chairs and table to stay in the room are extra from my POV
I would have remove a chair and a table and just leave the night stand and a chair to have a bit more of room for luggage

âTop service. Staff is super friendly and serviceminded. Room is big and everything in it is top class and new. Hotel hasn't a restaurant or dining room so breakfast is served to the room. Breakfast is good but almost to much. Beds har a bit hard as always in hotels.â
âIf you are wondering if the price tag is worth it⊠it absolutely is. We were incredibly lucky and fortunate to have experienced this beautiful heritage ryokan in the heart of Kyoto. The staff are wonderful, the attention to detail is exquisite, and the pride they put into making your experience perfect is exceptional. Our only regret is that we have to leave. âWe stayed in Tokyo and Osaka prior to our stay here in Kyoto at Maeniiya Machiya Inn. Maeniiya Machiya Inn is a definite great place to stay and close to everything.
Akemi (property owner) is a wealth of knowledge and gave a lot of tips and recommendations. Be sure to visit Sukemasa for dinner if you like Gyoza. It is very close and yummy for 1000yen!

âThis hotel provided our family of four with a a great stay. The family apartment was reasonably priced and very large. The hotel is a 2minute walk from the main train station. There are buses that will take you to all the main sights leaving regularly from the station. There is a large shopping centre at the station and everything you need within walking distance of the hotel. Highly recommend this property for families. â
