“Although brief, this area is beautiful!! Simplicities, pure nature, and only an hour or 2 from Brisbane city. Gorgeous drive from here to Brisbane too. The room was almost perfect, large fridge, comfortable bed, only downfall for me, were people playing loud music at 6am, but that's not the parks fault. And there were a few hairs in the bed and around toilet floor. Nothing drastic, but I did notice them. All in all, I would absolutely go back!!”

“Lovely country cottage, private ,peaceful and tranquil. Loved the bath on the verandah and the wildlife. Thoroughly enjoying oue stay and would recommend it to friends. Javita was a lovely host and couldn't be more helpful or informative of the area. We loved Dayboro and will be back.”

“Lovely little cabin, hosts were amazing and very welcoming, as well as helpful for ideas on what to see in the area. Less than 5 minute walk to the bus stop that goes direct to the city centre. Also a short walk from the supermarket. Overall great place.”

“Property was the same as last time, needs updating, but as I learned new operators are there and a few new things have been installed. Unfortunately the unit we were in did need work, still had broken blinds, cosmetic damage to aircon and a broken cupboard door and a bed where it was a struggle to get out as it was shoved next to a wall. For the price did expect more. But it was dog friendly.”

“The house was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was functional and well stocked with utensils etc. We had wet and cold weather so we enjoyed the fireplace. The big couch was a little too comfy so we fell asleep early. Would definitely recommend.”

“Overall, the stay was nice! Some room for improvement around the maintenance of the cabin and property, but otherwise quite comfortable. You do get constant highway noise outside but you get used to it after a while. Beautiful views otherwise and great for birdwatchers!”

“Such a beautiful place just to get away from the city life we live. Highly recommend if you just want to get away and totally unwind and relax. Megan and Brett were lovely and very helpful with things to do and places to go around the glass house mountains and beyond. My partner and i also loved all the walks, climbs and waterfalls all only 25 minutes or less away from Crookneck Retreat.”

Perfect location, not so perfect internet
"The hotel is in a perfect location close to everything in the central Brisbane. The reception is open all day round and is very helpful. Parking available onsite at additional fee, but rather reasonably priced at 39 AUD/day. The only drawback is WiFi coverage which at least in my apartment was not available only partially (not in all rooms and not in balcony). Also there is a kitchen but it lacks some basic utensils, such as frying pans."
