“ Kathmandu Peace Home is a clean and budget-friendly place near Thamel but away from the noise. Rooms are simple, comfortable, and good value for money wifi and hot water 24 hour available. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooftop area is a nice spot to relax. Some guests mention slow WiFi and occasional street noise, but overall it’s a great choice for budget travelers looking for peace and convenience in Kathmandu.”

“Vi sov gott trots att mc-trafik tutar på andra sidan väggen på våning 1. Personalen ville inte så gärna lämna oss i fred trots att barnen sov. Ville absolut granska bokningsnummer flera gånger. Inte familjevänligt men mycket mysigt. Rummet var rent. Taket var smutsigt och svårt att komma upp på. Nästan omöjligt att komma till med taxi. Man bör gå några hundra meter vilket är svårt med små barn.”

“It’s cheap for a reason. First the positive. Room was clean and the bed was not uncomfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful for my few requests, such as a towel. Now what I didn’t like. There was no shower, a bucket with a cup. One towel provided, they did give me a second one when I asked. The property was lacking in attention to what you’d expect in nice hotel. It felt this world. The price was super low, and it’s for a reason. it’s walking distance to the airport which was a huge plus.”
