“Hyfsat nybyggt, trevlig och service inriktad personal. Ligger i Koreatown. Väldigt bra med gratis parkering. Sköna sängar. Hotellet är dock lite väl sterilt byggt men perfekt för 1-2 övernattningar. ”

“Quite expensive but we had a really nice stay so it was worth it. On our long trip thru cali this was the only hotel who lived up to the expectations. Close to the arena otherwise not much to do or see downtown LA imo. Wouldve loved to stay for more days!”

“Smooth with parking under the hotel. It feels like a rough neighborhood and it doesn’t feel safe to walk in the surroundings. But well inside the hotel, the staff is caretaking and friendly. The ice machine drove my brother nuts in the middle of the night and they have to do something about the carpet in the hallway because it smells like cat*iss. The breakfast needs som cheese and ham and perhaps som greens to comply with the term “continental breakfast””

“I only spent one night at this hotel but it was a very positive experience.
The reception staff were absolutely outstanding, so friendly and helpful.
The room was large, bright and impeccably clean. A very affordable hotel that I would happily return to.”

"We had in mind that it was a 2-star hotel but some basic things like being clean was something we expected. The towels were dirty with stains on them and when we asked to get them changed out they said they had to go in the basement and wash some because they didn’t have more towels to give.
The towels they brought the day after were even more stained and even had a giant hole in it (see the picture). The furniture had stains on them and we avoided sitting on them at all costs.
You could hear all the noises that were going on outside of the room and the area was a bit sketchy with some guests clearly being intoxicated/high.
The positives with the hotel was the closeness to Downtown and the fact they had free parking in the garage. Other than that it was definitely not worth it."
"Really nice hotel but can’t really see why anyone would like to stay in this part of LA unless your doing business in downtown or have friends to visit there like I had. Downtown LA is not a place to be for tourists if you want to see the best of LA. I felt completely safe though on hotel premises, in my single room I had a safe for my valuables and during day time it is of course safe to walk around on the streets nearby but of course keep out/away from the Skid Row area with all the tents. The homeless people are nice and I never felt threatened but look ahead where you are going on the streets and don’t look down into your phone.
Single room with a skyview at almost the top but a 13 floor building won’t give so much skyview at all in downtown LA.
Some reviewers here have praised the shower, I looked into my shower and thought that’s just a regular shower head but OMG that water pressure was superb!
So I am still recommending this hotel for anyone having a purpose to visit downtown LA (not just random touristing of LA) or a romantic getaway where you want to stay in and old fashioned hotel, enjoy the rooftop bar and going by taxi to a restaurant at the evening when it is dark outside (avoid walking when it is dark!).
The tiles in the bathrooms of my single room was really beautiful and the bed just perfect.
So this hotel can’t do much about its surroundings but the historic elevators could get some more love by hotel management.
