“Agriturismo Principe di Vallescura is high on a high on a hill overlooking overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea in western Italy. It has beautiful sunsets, and when we drove down the s-curves to the town, we had the most stylish dinner we had in all of our stay in Italy. The bed and breakfast inn had no other guests. The room was certainly adequate without being remarkable in any way. As I will write in other reviews, the staple bedding for all of Italy is "Hard!." Therefore, I discovered the only way...

“Il nostro breve soggiorno è stato abbastanza piacevole. La casetta in legno nella quale abbiamo alloggiato era carina ma gli spazi erano ridotti al minimo. Nulla di particolarmente scomodo ma qualche metro in più avrebbe reso il soggiorno impeccabile. Ottima la colazione con dolce e/o salato a comanda e non a buffet. Particolarmente cortese la signorina che ci ha accolto e servito sabato mattina (forse straniera). Splendida la vista dalla terrazza esterna sul golfo. In conclusione un giudizio...

“We booked two nights on hotels.com a day before we arrived and received all the notification etc. However, when we arrived, the managers had no idea that we were coming. They also didn't speak any english (fair enough) so it was difficult explaining to them that we had made a booking. Even worse - they eventually told us it would cost us 90 Euros a night yet we had already paid 130 Euros online for each night....which included breakfast. However, there was no breakfast as the restaurant wasn't...

“L'esperienza in agriturismo e' stata buona sotto certi aspetti ma anche deludente. Una struttura che si definisce "agriturismo" dovrebbe offrire un soggiorno legato al mondo della natura sotto tutti gli aspetti. La colazione alle 8:30 anziche' alle 7:00 come letto sul sito e con prodotti confezionati e la cena era migliore della colazione ma niente di particolarmente legato al territorio. Il personale non e' stato accogliente e non orientato verso il cliente. Il cambio degli asciugamani...

“Disastroso. Prenotata stanza matrimoniale con aria condizionata, ma il proprietario (aggressivo e maleducato) ha tentato di appiopparci un buco lercio, con un lettino singolo e una brandina in aggiunta. L'aria condizionata non c'era e il gestore ha cercato di giustificarsi dicendoche per un prezzo così basso non potevamo pretendere altro. Una vera truffa, dato che l'individuo in questione vende su expedia servizi di cui non dispone. Siamo scappati via dopo pochi minuti, ma questa struttura...

“Beautiful, private, comfortable, authentic. Giuseppe was always available, kind, and generous; he even picked me up at the station. I found the experience of living under the olive trees deeply transformative. The walk to Pisciotta is steep and lovely, taking 20 to 30 minutes, depending on your level of fitness. Walking to the beach is more like 40 minutes to an hour. Don't forget the part about sheets and towels.”
