“We stayed for 3 nights at the dark horse. Brittany was quick to reply to any questions I had. The beds were very comfortable. The suite was spacious. The shower has a gap at the bottom so at times the bath mat would get saturatrd causing my feet and floor to be wet. There was an extra bath mat to use so it was no big deal.Overall very good place to stay. We enjoyed our time and would come back again.”

“Beautiful, spacious, clean, stylish. Everything you need. Full, well equipped kitchen. Lovely deck space. Gas fireplace. Super comfy bed. Absolutely perfect!”

“Was great place for my adult daughter and I to stay as we each had a room. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed the conveniences in the area, within walking distance.”

“Cannot say enough about how much we love this place. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Bear Mountain getaway. The check in was smooth. The room was incredible. The environment was outstanding. We had a rough schedule because of what we ended up doing there but at night we were at ease. Rested well then move onto next day of another adventure. We are so grateful that we chose this place to rest.”

“Great property offered by owners who care.”

“Such a lovely place to stay. Everything seemed above and beyond expectations. We would definitely recommend this accommodation.”

“Very welcoming host family. Shared the young children's backyard playground with our multigenerational family. Independent suite very clean and comfortable. Could have used more cutlery. Easy communication.Convenient location for our needs. Thank you.”

Fortunately the other room wasn't rented out but I find disingenuous to describe the space as private. The bedroom doors are feet apart, and it is likely you are sharing a 2 bedroom suite with strangers.”

“This place is a gem. The 2 bedroom 1 bath is the downstairs floor of a house and the hosts Kira and Chris live upstairs. There is workout equipment, a small Kitchen, Living Room with TV & Stereo, and sofas for lounging about in the common area. For the Hockey enthusiast there is alot of memorabilia showcased in the common area. Right outside the living area is a hottub ready and waiting. As the other pictures show, they have friendly pet chickens that free range in the yard, and may...
