“I did not like the area. I did not like that the doors were always closed, that there was a slight gap in the blinds so people could look into my room. It took the lady an hour to find my reservation. There was always loud music playing late at night and sometimes the owner’s kid would cry a lot.”

“We adored our stay at Pepe’s! The room and bed (firm) were comfortable and to our liking. The location is *very* walkable to several squares, restaurants, shopping, and even a few great beer spots (two breweries and a Belgian spot). Alexandria and Estephanie were extremely accommodating and warm, we were very grateful for them. The breakfasts were big and delicious, and daily coffee nice and strong! We had heard that the towels and blankets in Ecuador were rough but not at Pepe’s! Soft towels,...

“Our family of five stayed in two rooms. Marco and Andres made us feel comfortable and at home. They were extremely accommodating and helped us with all our needs! Breakfast is included as well which included fresh bread, eggs made to order and fruit. The property was beautiful and there were some alpacas on site. This stay was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. 10/10 would recommend and if I come back we would definitely stay here!!”

“The place is super nice and a good starting point for hiking. The people were super friendly and very welcoming, absolutely lovely! The room was very basic, the bed was small but comfy. It was extremely cold at night and there was no hot water to shower or a heat source for the night. There were enough blankets, but since we hiked into a hail storm we were wet and cold and couldn’t really warm up… warm water would be expected, even in a basic room like this. The restaurant is an absolute gem...

The rooms, while all different are spacious and very well appointment enabling use to prepare full meals. The location, on the river and walkway is perfect for walking to restaurant's, shopping or just a short stroll.”
