The location was great - you are about 1 mile to Crescent Beach and its restaurants and about 1 1/2 miles to Siesta Key beach and restaurants. My advice would be to rent bikes from Ride and Paddle (Crescent Beach) for your entire stay. They will drop them off and pick them up! If you drive a car into town, the parking is about 10/hour and there is almost no parking spots at restaurants or stores to utilize. You will most likely have to pay to park.As for the room, it was decent. A little on the small side, but doable. The master bath was VERY tiny - there is a pedestal sink that is maybe 16inX12in which is right next to the shower door, and you cannot fully open the shower door. The walk-in shower barely fit me and I am a bigger, 6ft tall girl. IT WAS TIGHT! I ended up using the other bathroom which was much more roomy with a tub and shower. One other thing that was a bummer (not because of this property) is that while you do get private beach access, there was always people congregating at the access point waiting for someone to let them on to the beach. Normally, I wouldn't care, but because I had probably paid a little more than the people staying across the street it took away from the perks I thought I was getting. All in all, it was a decent place and nice location. The property managers were very friendly and communicated well.
