"This hotel is overall very nice — I wouldn’t give it five stars, but the value for the price (around $80/night) is solid. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the room was spacious and clean. I’ve traveled extensively around the world and especially in recent years, and I appreciate when things are done well — and some things here really were. However, the check-in experience was extremely disappointing. The front desk clerk was aggressively pushing a dinner package on us, despite us clearly being in a hurry to go sightseeing in Agra. It was pushy and uncomfortable — not how a welcome should feel. Later, we decided to try the head massage in the spa, and that turned out to be a big mistake. It was by far the worst spa experience I’ve had. I had to ask the therapist six times to stop hurting me. My daughter also had to tell her therapist to be gentler. Mine was outright rude and ended the session early. While they waived the fee, I was visibly upset — and in Europe, or even in many parts of Asia, this situation would’ve been handled much more seriously. Service matters. A beautiful hotel and good food can't make up for experiences that leave you feeling disrespected or hurt."

"Vi förväntade oss mycket mycket mer då detta ansågs vara ett 5 stjärnigt hotell. När vi anlänt till vårt rum så blev vi förvirrade av hur lågt underhåll det var på hotellet. Inte när det gäller trädgårdarna för de var fantastiska. Vi började då läsa recensionerna och började förstå att vi inte var de enda som blivit besvikna utifrån vår faktiska upplevelse. Tydligen så har det detta hotell varit en riktig pärla en gång i tiden. Kan faktiskt bli det igen men underhållskostnaden är nog enorm. Servicepersonalen behöver nog både en och flera kurser i service. Det var nästan komiskt. "
