The decor was obviously carefully curated by the owners with impeccable antiques as well as one of a kind crafted pieces. We were all extremely comfortable in the large beds with fresh clean linens, the adorable bathroom and full kitchen. “Check in was easy. Max met us and showed us where everything was at. Max and Anne even met us at departure to wish us safe travels. I’ve stayed at many places and this place offers the most amount of amenities, from cleaning supplies to coffee to odd and end things like sunburn care. Plenty of towels and extra bedding. It is located on the back side of their home, but my privacy was maintained. The landscape around the pool and home offer plenty of privacy. Replies to my messages were quick. ...

“The listing indicated the rental was a house. However it is almost a studio apartment attached to a house.The space itself was clean and convenient for my overnight stay. Future renters should be aware there are dogs on the property that are quite vocal and the refrigerator is dorm sized but cold.”

“This home was absolutely perfect! Super cute and wonderfully decorated — it instantly felt like home. Everything was spotless, and the fenced-in property gave us both privacy and peace of mind. The location is right in the heart of Umatilla, which made it easy to get around and enjoy the area. Communication with the host was a 10/10 — quick, friendly, and so accommodating. I can’t recommend this place enough and would definitely stay here again!”

“We were visiting family in The Villages and needed a place to stay. We enjoyed the spacious yet compact space—living area, kitchen, bedroom, bath with large shower, walk in closet and laundry room. We parked in the driveway but that was the only space to be outside at this time. It was fine as we were mostly with family elsewhere. ”

“Relaxing and peaceful with country charm. Thankful they allowed dogs. We like to travel with our dog and she was comfortable and enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. Not too far from Gainesville and we also enjoyed eating dinner at The Yearling which is right next door. ”

“Everything you would need except a dishwasher. Fortunately it was only me. Otherwise, dishes could be a bit of a hassle with no dish rack/drying area. I still enjoyed the use of it for what I was there to do. Large TV’s in every room and great Wi-Fi. As far as the property manager goes, if you mean the host, he lives across the street and was very helpful. The contact people from the website are absolutely useless if you have a question. I received not one single response.”
