Welcome to The Cabin. This family-friendly home is located in the much-loved cabin colony at Silver Star Mountain. Just steps from the slopes and the village – it’s one of the best locations on the mountain.
Walk in the front door to a large entryway where you can store all your gear. Just outside the front door, there is a ski locker with room for 10+ pairs of skis. There are carpet style sleds and a variety of hockey sticks if you’d like to venture down to the pond for a game of shinny.
Head upstairs to the spacious, main living area which combines the large living room with its big, bright windows and the dining room, kitchen, and full bathroom, with its traditional A-Frame cabin charm. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked like your own home with everything you need. There is even a cupboard full of games, books and activities for kids that you can use during your stay.
Just off the main living area is access to your private hot tub.
From the main living area, head upstairs to the three bedrooms, alcove and brand-new full bathroom with stand-up shower. The A-Frame alcove has two twin beds, futon and a TV Roku, PS3 / DVD’s – this is the perfect spot for the kids to hang out. Through the alcove is where you will find the 3rd bedroom with its traditional A-frame charm.

Although this cabin sleeps 8, if you do have 2 more children we may be able to accommodate – please just ask.

Bonus: The hot tub is open during the winter season and closed for both the shoulder and summer seasons.
Parking: There are two outdoor parking spots for your stay.
Ski Access: Quick access to the Alpine Meadows Chair or the village with an easy return route back home.
The Cabin is a fully equipped cabin with pre-arranged access to laundry facilities if you’re staying for 5 or more nights. Housekeeping is not included during your stay but if you require additional housekeeping during your stay, it can be arranged at an additional cost.
Please Note: This home has a separate area that is periodically occupied; however, you have a separate entrance and do not share any facilities within the property.
The Cabin does have a 3 night minimum but if you’re interested in 2 nights, please just ask and we may be able to accommodate.

The pet fee is $30 plus taxes per night/per pet. With VRBO, the pet fee listed is priced for the duration of your stay. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Special feature: Our unit has a keyless entry (you will be provided the access code prior to arrival). This makes it convenient for you to arrive at any time after check-in time - so if you want to check in late or come a day early arriving late at night - you could just make first tracks in the morning.

Great layout with a spacious and comfortable living room and dining/kitchen all on one floor: lots of socializing around the gas fireplace.
