“I booked this hotel as a romantic getaway for my partners birthday we stayed in a superior room with a sea view and it was exactly that, absolutely beautiful views the room was small but cosy the bed was more than big enough, and the staff were lovely and nothing was too much hassle. “The Royal presents itself impeccably. It has quality everywhere you look. Our room was immaculate and food quality didn’t let us down. However, our experience at breakfast was a little disappointing as everything was being cleared away before we had finished eating!! And our charges to the room were taken from my credit card without any prior consultation. Still waiting for an email of my bill which was promised? All just seemed a bit unprofessional?”

“Lovely place in a lovely city. Really friendly staff and the breakfast was a very nice touch! Would recommend anyone who wants a good place for the money. Also a cheap parking lot closeby (2.5 pounds between 18 and 9 which is good for people who want to go to lake district wit car)”
