“Simply fantastic! We found this converted monastery by accident. The building is beautiful, as are the gardens and surroundings. Very tranquil and peaceful. We had dinner at the restaurant, and it was excellent. The breakfast was one of the best I have eaten! Special mention to the "savory monk's cake" - delicious! My only small complaint is that the rooms are not exactly soundproof. But I can live with that, the rest is just wonderful.”

“Located right at the central square of Montepulciano, this castle-like rustic hotel was the perfect spot from which to explore the town and the surrounding countryside. The manager was a very friendly woman who helped us to plan visits to vineyards, find nice bars with sunset views and more. It feels just like staying in an old Tuscan villa if that's what your after. The rooms are not of the sterile hotel variety but rather like comfy apartments, although perfectly clean. “This is a great accommodation. Room is spacious, comfortable and updated. Our room was above the Bistro which was great for a glass of wine at the end of the day and coffee and breakfast in the morning. Visit the Brolio Castle for great valley views. Wine tasting at Ricasoli is excellent. Everyone we dealt with were friendly and helpful. Finally Osteria Brolio the on site restaurant is worth trying good food well prepared. Overall very positive experience highly recommend you visit and stay.”
