“This was such a cute little cottage. Perfect for our group of 4. Beds were comfortable. Everything was visually pleasing. Well stocked. Owner took the time to fill planters with spring flowers. Area was quiet and peaceful . Wasn’t too far from the town where there were lots of cute little shops and bars. And the sunset views were stunning!! Didn’t like how far out of the way we had to drive to check in but that was a minor detail. Would definitely stay again.”

“Very well updated property! What looks to be a former fishing cabin is very well renovated with a nice living area including full kitchen. Easy drive to all Door County has to offer. Updated bathroom and laundry area. Outdoor area is well set up for the site with chairs, fire pit and bag toss. Only problem- in early June it was too buggy to enjoy it. Watched the sunrise from the living room windows each morning and enjoyed bird watching while watching the sunrise. Inside was lovely but could you...

“Such a gorgeous place in the woods. The interior is beautiful and very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen that included a coffee bar and a great assortment of spices for cooking. The owner also left a bottle of wine and some chocolates! I highly recommend this rental.”

“This was our second stay and we stayed for 5 nights. We love it as it is dog friendly, clean and quaint. We enjoyed the fire pit, grill station, hammock and kayaking during sunsets. The views are incredible outside and from the inside. We stayed off season so it was quite chilly, but you can always warm up in the indoor sauna:). Great hiking opportunities in the nearby state parks (Newport and Death Door Bluff), The hosts are very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!”

“This is a cozy and very convenient property. The bedrooms are very small but that was fine. We had four adults and managed within the space very well. The activity shed was awesome! We kayaked one day and spent the next day bicycling! We enjoyed the area and the smaller crowds of the offseason!”

“We rented the Eagles Nest as a couples get away but it can actually sleep five (inc kids). Perfect location, blocks from the water but in a private wooded lot on three sides. No visual neighbors. Upper back balcony perfect breakfast spot for two. Clean, everything worked well, good wifi, good shower pressure and this place cost less for the whole cottage than a hotel or condo. Privacy for couples (or small families!) — We’d definitely rent it again.”

“The pros:Check in was extremely easy and it was communicated perfectly on how to access building. We had a large group and the house was able to fit all of us and they were super cool about the additional members. I very much appreciated that. The house appeared to have everything we needed. We could not locate washer and dryer because usually during my stays I leave the house fully clean and I do the linens and towels and I wasn’t able to do that but the description stated there was a washer...

“Very cozy and comfortable. View is gorgeous and the area is quiet. The condo. is well- appointed and has a very attractive bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. The deck is large and private. We enjoyed our visit very much and plan to return. On a side note: the hot water is scalding hot, so perhaps could be turned down to avoid accidental burn.”
