“The cottage is lovely and very much as described, it it is actually bigger inside than it looks on the photos mainly I think due to the double height of the lounge but whatever it is a roomy enough place for a family. It was very clean. The main bed and sofas could be more comfortable and maybe those and linens are getting a little tired and yes it would be nice if there was a dishwasher and washer/dryer but the vibe here is rustic, relaxed, back in time and for that it is very well placed as is...

“The cottage was spacious and great for four friends staying together for a week of walking in Co Cork. All the needs that are required ie. towels, sheets, kitchen utensils etc, were there. The kitchen was fully supplied with dishwasher tablets and a washing machine working perfectly. It's a 10 min drive from Castletownbere so no walking to the nearest pub/restaurant. A taxi ride to go into town. A beautiful location and a lovely spot to have time away from it all. I'd definitely go back ”

“Outstanding location overlooking the ocean. Beautifully furnished and well equipped for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay for 2 couples. We enjoyed the peaceful pastoral setting and ease of access to Clonakilty and surrounding area. Host provided excellent communication and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!”

“We loved staying at the barn! The place is very quiet and super green and the barn and the attached terrace is very private - except for the little white wagtail visiting every now and then. The barn has everything you need and a little extra to have a very comfortable stay. Toaster, coffee machine, a comfy fireplace, apple TV. “We loved our stay! We were 7 adults with 3 babies and found the house a great set up for a big group. Kitchen was very well equipped and great having so many bathrooms. But the best part was the views, we had amazing weather for March and we had amazing views of the sunrise every morning! We will absolutely be back. Great find!”
