Det ligger vid slutet av en privat körfält på landsbygden, med långdistansutsikt över öppen landsbygd till kullarna bortom. Idealiskt beläget mellan Yorkshire Dales National Park och Forest of Bowland, ligger fastigheten också nära bergsklättret Pennine Bridleway, Settle Loop och Gisburn Forest, vilket gör det till en utmärkt bas för aktiva semestrar. Det har utsikt över en plats med speciell vetenskaplig intresse i Ribble Floodplain, med en mängd fågelliv och en fågelgöm på Ribble Way. Ett idealiskt hem för avkoppling i och bara njut av din omgivning. Wonderful spacious cottage with all amenities you could wish for. Host are always available but not intrusive, just very nice. Plenty of places to visit or just stay home and admire the views.

This is a small cottage attached to the owner's property. Carl and Bev are the perfect hosts. Happy to chat and offer advice but who leave you to get on with your holiday. The cottage was cleaned to the highest standard, tastefully decorated and well-maintained. It is equipped with everything you need and more. The cottage is in a peaceful location, which in turn means a 15 minute drive to supermarkets but that's what we were looking for. There's a small enclosed patio to sit out and enjoy the scenery and a larger parking area with grass, which our dog loved to explore. The Ribble Way is on the doorstep but livestock in the field meant that we preferred not to use it with our dog. However the walk up the access drive to the main road was perfect for our evening strolls.

This is an excellent little gem.

This is an excellent little gem. I was tempted to say no to recommending it as we would like to keep it for ourselves, but that would be selfish. We enjoy ourselves so much we are reluctant to leave, but leave we must. This was our 3rd visit and we have already booked for next year and that was before this years holiday. This was our second visit to Two Hoots. We consider this cottage to be the best equipped, most comfortable and with the loveliest views we have experienced in a holiday rental. We enjoy walking and find the location excellent for such activities. Owners are friendly and approachable and eager to assist. Excellent for persons requiring mobility assistance we would say, as all one level, modern and with large wet room shower. We will be returning again for sure.

Great views of the surrounding countryside and well positioned for exploring the Dales, the Forest of Bowland and Gisburn Forest. Couldn't get over how dog-friendly the area is, allowing dogs into tearooms, restaurants, hotels and even shops. The owners Beg and Carl are very friendly and helpful and the cottage is immaculate and comfortable. Particularly liked the wet room. Saw and heard one of the owls on our last night. Would love to come back.
