“Lovely little cottage in perfect location. The cottage is exactly as described and is a perfect Dales base for 2 people. We booked pretty last minute for the bank holiday week in August, so we were worried about the lack of a dedicated parking space. However, we were able to park either on the road outside or in the car park round the corner every day - so not a problem at all.”

“A very attractive, well-equipped and clean cottage. It was perfect for us. We appreciated having an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs loo. The kitchen was well-equipped; it even had a teapot (rare these days). We enjoyed sitting in the garden. Although in the middle of a busy village it was very quiet. As we don’t drive we used public transport, but car owners would like the parking spot outside the house.Unfortunately we had an emergency at home which meant we weren’t both there all the time,...

“We stayed for a week in February and didn’t want to leave. The Cottage is a home away from home and has everything we needed and much more. The kitchen had everything needed for us to cook each day. The log burner was a special treat. Great WiFi and TV, very comfortable bed and nice and warm central heating. Neil and Sharon were fantastic hosts and we really enjoyed their advice and friendly chats! Can’t wait to return!”
