“We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. ”

“A unique hotel. The inside, whilst being modern with all the amenities you would expect and more, still maintains a 'castle' feel. The staff were super friendly and attentive and provided sound advice when asked about the local area. A good choice for breakfast, which was excellent. A really fantastic stay.”

“We had a very comfortable room, the breakfast was great, especially with the view of the sea and sky. Overall, we had everything we needed for a very pleasant nights stay. The location is amazing.”

“This hotel is in a perfect location at the centre of the city. Easily walkable to the cathedral, St. Nons chapel and the beautiful coastal path.
Staff were all welcoming and friendly and breakfast was lovely, with a range of cold and hote freshly cooked food.
We also ate in the bar restaurant one evening. We chose from the specials board and we both thought the dishes were delicious.
The room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
I would certainly stay there again on my next visit.”
