“We have stayed at the Kveldsro for a week plus on two occasions, and really enjoyed ourselves each time. The hotel is not a new building, but as a result is full of character. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms fairly recently updated. The dining room and many of the bedrooms have a wonderful view over the Lerwick harbour. “A really good hotel that had great facilities. Two restaurants with excellent choices. Two indoor pools - one just for hotel guests (the other for guests in the lodges). Several comfy rooms for chilling. Lovely grounds for walks and close enough to walk to Brodick. Everywhere is decorated to a very high standard. The staff are a mix of local and world wide - all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The whole hotel is dog friendly. Highly recommend ”

“Bodde här en natt för att fira min 60-årsdag. Var ett bra val. Fint läge, fina vyer över vattnet och till andra sidan fastlandet. Bra personal med trevligt bemötande. Mycket fin mat. Rummet var stort och rymligt .Kommer gärna tillbaka.”

“Very welcoming and friendly manager / staff. Clean rooms and very comfortable bed and chairs. Shower was poor (luke warm water which could not be adjusted with poor water flow). Breakfast was acceptable (cereal, toast, boiled egg - not full English). Beautiful outlook across to Hoy with small ferry terminal serving Hoy and Flotta close by. Not inconvenienced by ferry, noise or traffic using it. Excellent position for visiting the ‘mainland’ including Kirkwall and Stromness. A car is a must...

“Booked a room w seaview in Feb 2018, arrived on June 18 and got the farthest away room on the backside looking into another backside. Added, that room was stinking and hadn't have fresh air for ages.”

“Mysigt litet hotell i ett lugnt område nära bron till isle of sky. Tyvärr dålig ordning och servicenivå hos personalen som verkade fungera som allt-i-allo. Hade förbokat halvpension men fick dålig info om vad som ingick och om öppettiderna i matsal/kök. Fick inte valuta för pengarna. ”
