âTook off one star for comfort because it was unusually cold and AC was on and we did know how to use remote to get hear instead until a late night phone call. After that was fine, Instructions recommended, We don't yet all have those Mitsubishi units at home yet.
Also when we arrived front door to building was not locked and was not locked when we returned from dinner about 9PM,â
âShout out to Christine for going above and beyond! We originally booked a room that happed to be on the 3rd floor. My husband got injured before we arrived and Christine was very helpful in arranging for us to move to the 1st floor as soon as the room became available. Housekeeping moved our luggage for us and the new room was a nice upgrade.â

âI'm not giving it one star because the place met my expectations, which were quite low at the outset. The cottage was of mid-century design that is badly in need of renovation (broken fixtures, uncovered electrical outlets, mold/mildew growth in the bathroom). It was a non-smoking room, but clearly people were smoking there. I think the place was emblematic of the Catskills as an area that once was a great place to visit, but has fallen into disrepair over the past several decades. â
âExcellent. Quick check in. Very nice property. Super quiet. It is older, but super clean and comfy. Had I known it was so good we would have stayed in the area two nights. We couldn't get the TV to work except to watch the baseball channel....â
âI loved it and will only stay there when Iâm in the area again! I totally dug the old school 50s-60s charm of the decor, nice spacious grounds with benches and seats for relaxing, super friendly and helpful front desk service and my room was spotless.
These throwback motels are vanishing, we need more Red Ranchâs!â
