Five minutes walking distance away from downtown dining district and sports locations. Full-sized refrigerator and even had dishwasher, stovetop, cooking implements and dinner setting for four.â
âI absolutely loved my two night stay at Hotel Fort Des Moines. The hotel itself was magnificent, my room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. I enjoyed the cafe several times and wished I would have been able to try the restaurant. All the staff I interacted with were so friendly, helpful and very professional. I will definitely be staying here again next time Iâm in Des Moines. â

Only one charger outlet by the beds and it was not in the middle. Itâs 2024, charging outlets should be by every bed or every side of the bed. â
âWe had a good experience! Property is in decent shape with some maintenance underway on the 4th floor. Clean rooms and nice staff. For the weekly rate, it was worth the cost, but canât attest to weekend rates. We would come back again if in the area.â

âALL of the staff were so polite and willing to help. Our room was spotless with a gorgeous view. The shuttle was easy to access and to call for a return trip. This location also has many options for fun activities within walking distance. I can't say enough good things about our stay.â

âThis was my first time staying at a MyPlace Hotel. I loved that I had a stove top, full size fridge, microwave in my food that allowed me to bring my own food and cook. It saved me a lot of money on eating out. Nice staff, clean rooms. I had an issue with my door but I got it to work. No complaints â
