“Overall decent for the money”

“We had a fantastic stay. Marietta is a great town, and the Lafayette is very much a historic hotel. The common areas are rich with historical context and artifacts, and the two restaurants serve different purposes. The nearby area has an abundance of things to enjoy, day and night. As a historic building, this beauty and texture also come with some compromises. While the front façade, lobby, and restaurant areas are grand and elegant, the floor in our fifth-floor room had a very unavoidable...

“Very charming and unique hotel. Great location.”

“At first glance, everything was great. Once we walked around in our room, me in white socks and my wife barefoot, we realized that the floor was filthy. Everything else seemed clean enough, but finding the floors that dirty was a real turn off. The staff was very kind and helpful. “I understand the building is old! Everything was a little grubby! Sheets were clean & smelled good! Not sure it was worth the price!!”

“Staff was very friendly & helpful”

“They were doing some exterior renovations but overall the hotel was clean and comfortable.”

“Was told at check in the pool was open, although it's missing a foot of water. When my children went down to swim they were told they weren't allowed that it was 15$ per person.”

“Very nice and safe Holiday Inn just off I77. Highly recommended.”

“The property was as expected for the money. The bed was terribly hard. One room had a broken lock, one room had a broken towel bar.”
