“Pictures of the property don't do justice to this place. We stayed in Cabin 1 and it is beautiful! The cabin has a deck all around with an outdoor dining area, gas grill and private sauna. The main living area has the living room and kitchen and it is beautiful, full of windows up to the ceiling and very spacious. There is also a loft with a futon bed and its own TV. “This property is really nice. The location is great for exploring Snaefelsness Peninsula. Borgarnes is the nearest town and has a few nice restaurants, a museum, and a walkable community. The home itself was clean with comfortable beds. Check in/out was easy. There is a gate going in that is worked by calling a number. The home has a lockbox and security system, though the area felt very rural and secure. ”

“My wife and I spent four nights in this duplex cottage in the town of Hellnar on the Snaefellsbaer Peninsula. We were greeted by an amazing display of the Northern Lights on our first night. The place was comfortable and quiet and had all the amenities needed to feel like home for a few days. The views are stunning--the sea in one direction and mountains and the volcano that dominates the west end of the peninsula in the other. There are several little places to eat within a 5-10 minutes...

“We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here”

“The cottage was compact and well equipped for 2 people. I liked the quiet location and easy parking. I had two caveats: large downloads and streaming was prohibited on the wifi and guests were requested to change the bedding, make up the bed for the next guests arriving.”

“We loved our stay at this cottage in Iceland. It was a perfect spot for our exploring to Snæfellsnes. The cottage was wonderfully equipped with everything we needed and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. We settled right in. My teenager loved the loft and having the cool windows.
