“This is a former Postmans Station House near Borgarnes. Lovingly renovated according to plans and photos. I was the only one there and I loved everything about it! The breakfast was self-serve and abundant. There is a Bonus and Netto in town if you want to make your own dinner. Be aware there is no microwave. My room included an enSuite, a table and chairs, and multiple beds (I only used the single twin). I spend three nights, which was enough to go to explore the area and take a few hikes....

Hotels hade bekräftat men jag hade inte fått någon indikation att något var fel. Lyckades lösa detta ändå men det var stressande. Frågade om det fanns frukost men hon svarade nej. Morgonen efter fanns det ändå frukost trots att inte uthyraren visste det. Vi fick en bra och god frukost utan kostnad serverad av ett trevligt par. Det...

“Nice comfortable cabins with ok bathroom space. The cleanliness was also acceptable. You can enjoy ocean at some distance but its quite far out to drive to. The kitchen is a shared one so a queue gets formed when everyone wants to cook dinner. Also the cleanliness and equipments of kitchen need an upgrade. For this price, expected a bit better experience but still overall it was ok. ”

“Our host was welcoming and very helpful with suggestions of things to see in the area. There were weather warnings the day we left and she was very helpful in helping me find the safest route to our next destination. We were thankful for her help and advice.”

“Wonderful stay at this farmhouse. Convienently located at the start of peninsula attractions if you are going counter clockwise around it. Nice people, nice walks and hirseback rides, and fantastic food.”
