“I was impressed with the kitchen and bathroom upgrades. The house had a cozy feel to it. Reasonable price for the stay as well. I was unable to lock the main door from the inside though. The immediate surroundings were a little odd with a warehouse and an abandoned car (?). it would be good to have a shower door to keep the bathroom floor dry and also have a heater in the bathroom. But the highlight of our stay there was rather serendipitous. We saw a beautiful arctic fox near the house. What a...

“We arrived late. The owner is really kind and the place is super! We would enjoy staying there another time. Sheets and towels are not provided (but you can rent them extra) This info should have been corrected on hotels.com in the meantime. ”

“Nice room, good breakfast, easy parking, just one little thing we missed (my fault) that the bathroom was shared. It was not a problem at all, 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet are available and there is not many rooms that share it, so we actually never bumped into any guest or had to wait for using the bathroom.”

“The hotel has great and friendly service and is located in the middle of town. Walking distance to convenience store and restaurants.”

“Nice comfortable cabins with ok bathroom space. The cleanliness was also acceptable. You can enjoy ocean at some distance but its quite far out to drive to. The kitchen is a shared one so a queue gets formed when everyone wants to cook dinner. Also the cleanliness and equipments of kitchen need an upgrade. For this price, expected a bit better experience but still overall it was ok. ”

“Litet och mysigt. Jättefina rum med bra sängar, fint litet kök och soffrum. Rent och trevligt inrett. Rena och fina toaletter och duschar. Ligger precis vid vattnet och vi satt ute och åt vilket var fint. Ingen personal på plats, vi hämtade nyckeln i restaurangen bredvid. Köket okej utrustat, rent och fint. Enda minus var att hot tub inte är fungerande som det stod på hemsidan. Slitet hus på utsidan men fint på insidan! Vi är mycket nöjda! ”

“Nous sommes une famille de 4, nous avons eu l'appartement juste à côté de la Guesthouse, il y a une chambre, salle de bain privée et une cuisine. Pour nos enfants, il n'y avait pas de serviettes de bain, ni de draps pour les couettes et le canapé. La vue est sympathique. Parking privée, et accès à la ville à pied. ”

“the man and women at the front desk were amazing. they went above and beyond for us. we were in a car accident (rear ended) on our first day in Iceland (about 15 minutes from the cottages) and were very stuck as we couldn’t drive the car or make phone calls. we got in contact with them and they not only picked us up but moved us into a room in the main part of the building so that we could be close to the front desk to use their phones to make many calls back and forth to our car rental company....
