“The rooms are in a modern build anex and are comfortable, clean and very pleasant. My room and many rooms have a small balcony, air conditioning and great space. We were able to park our motorbikes right next to reception, it felt safe. Breakfast was good and there is a nice restaurant within walking distance by the river ( I think it’s owned by the same people). Staff were friendly and helpful. “Wer im Zentrum der Stadt Castelo Branco wohnen will um die Stadt weitgehend zu Fuß zu erkunden, hat keine sehr große Auswahl an Hotels. Ich wählte dann das Hotel Imperio do Rei, das nur wenige Meter von der Kathedrale entfernt liegt. Es handelt sich um ein relativ kleines Hotel mit etwas älterer Einrichtung und etwas dunklen Zimmern, was jedoch die Sauberkeit und die Freundlichkeit des Personals wett machen.
