“I really loved staying here. The location is great - just a 15 min walk from the bus station and right in the heart of everything. The terrace is exactly as photographed and is wonderful. When I wasn't out exploring Aix, I spent most of my time on this terrace. Check in was easy with the host meeting me on-site and giving me a quick tour to make sure everything was ready and in good shape. “We were offered an upgrade to stay on the second floor which is the third floor if you are an American. Beware if you have large suitcases, as there are no elevators. We had to practically empty our suitcase to get the contents up the stairs. There is a washing machine/dryer combo in the community kitchen, but it takes hours to wash and dry your clothes. “Prime location, right in the center of Aix, around the corner from Place de la Mairie. You can’t beat the location. The owner and management company were very responsive. Since there is no AC fans are provided, which is very helpful. Please note the apartment is located on one of the busiest streets in Aix for nighttime eating and partying. If you want to sleep with the windows open it’s quite loud until about 4am, especially on weekends. The shower is very small and it’s a bit tricky to get in...

“For the first time, I am taking my time to write a detailed review. I wish the owner would take better care of the property, if they are planning to rent it out. When we arrived the AC, that was advertised, did not work and it was extremely hot inside. We opened the windows and tried to contact the property manager, and it took two hours to hear back. They provided instructions which included turning off the breaker for the whole apartment and turning it back one, as if we were electricians....
