“We stayed at the Shelby Inn overnight Easter Sunday night, after a day of fishing at the lake spillway. The Inn looks to be a mansion in pictures, but it is also what might have been an upgraded 1950s single floor motor lodge, as well as a two story lodging building next door. “The room was very clean, quiet, neat, basic. It is an original motel, a good stay at a great price, and it includes breakfast at the diner! ”
