“A good cabin for a short stay close to Höfn. Works for 4people but not so much space for common activities inside. If clear weather the little hill next to the cabin gives very nice view. The traffic outside can be disturbing if the windows are open. We also have problem with disturbing odor from the drainage chamber outside the bedroom window, need to have it closed. Great to get in to the nice village Höfn and very good point to explore more East of Iceland and the area nearby. East access...

“Top tier spot. Clean, warm in the winter, very responsive owners. Plenty of local stuff to do nearby like waterfall walks, Caves of Hella, wool market, and a cute cafe. A great middle point for exploring golden circle and south coast. ”

“Wonderful cottage with all the kitchen items you need - toaster, oven, stove, coffee maker, kettle, fridge. Comfortable beds and linens, very quiet - out in the country, 20 minute drive to town (Selfoss) for groceries, restaurants, etc. The 2 family dogs are lovely. Communication was good, and no issues at check-in. Not far away from the Golden Circle route. Would highly recommend.”
