“This place is awesome! It was the perfect size for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids). The hosts did an amazing job with the amenities.... from the game cabinet, K-cup variety, kitchen necessities and kayaks, there was nothing our family needed that we couldn't find. Everything in the home is top of the line. It really felt like we were staying in a high end cabin! Would definitely recommend this location!!”

Although we didn't use the amenities there such as the fire pit and the hammocks, it pretty much had everything we needed for a somewhat rustic weekend. I did like that the code to the door was just texted to us so we didn't have to really check in at any given time. “We stayed here for a girlfriends 3 night weekend get away. We really enjoyed Vern's cabin !!The cabin had everything we needed. It is very peaceful and serene there. We really enjoyed the patio for coffee in the morning, the fire pit at night, and watching the river. We saw & heard lots of birds, eagles & Blue Herons....Bunnies and a big turtle too. The cabin is not fancy but it is perfect for a get away. Redwing is right there and we had a lot of fun shopping, eating out, and checking out...

“My two young sons and I had a very nice visit to The Boathouse. The lake is well used but not busy and the water is calm. We spent our time on the kayaks, fishing from the dock, and on land with a fire to warm up the cool summer evenings. The Boathouse is well-kept, comfortable, and charming and the hosts are delightful and generous. The drive into the twin cities is very easy. I would definitely recommend. ”

“3 places to eat and drink just across the street, Tree lined streets and Military appreciation park was next to the property. The house had an open kitchen-dining room with comfortable couches in the living room. Three bedrooms meet the sleeping needs for the 5 of us. Only one bath worked out- no lingering.We enjoyed the trails and cool swimming beach at nearby White Water State park. ”
