“This was a good place to stay in a quieter, more residential area along the NH coastline. It seems to have been recently updated and overall clean and decent. The staff was friendly, most especially at the Surf Shack on the back patio for drinks and snacks. But for the price, I was a little let down and expected more. There were piles of sand left uncleaned in the dresser drawers, the bed frame fell apart, the shower was not completely cleaned, the sink was very slow draining, the handles kept...

“A very sweet old inn. The magnolia room was very clean, tastefully decorated, and spacious. I enjoyed the coffee station right outside the door and the bottled water in the min-fridge was a nice bonus. The shared bathroom was newly updated and very clean. The front porch rockers were lovely to sit and read. There is currently no food on site so bring your own or dine out- the owners provide a good book of suggestions. It’s an easy .6 mile walk to beautiful North Beach which is much less crowded...

“Gave me a little sore throat and mild congestion because of the dust in the atmosphere of my bedroom but overall clean and neat environment. When stepping out of the room the smell of the furniture was be noticed as being a bit antique on the cheaper rooms. But regardless of that, everything was absolutely beautiful thank you! I liked longing on the couch down the stairs even took a nap. Really nice view outside and environment to be in.”
