Trendy and very high standard!
Sense is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I continue to return to Sofia and this hotel and I gladly recommend it to anyone!

Shame about the smoking in the restaurant/rooftop
Great Hotel with also a great Spa, unfortunatly the BIG let down is that it is allowed to smoke in the rooftop restaurant/bar which make the breakfast served in the morning there not nice. Shame about that.

Allt var mycket bra förutom att det konstigt nog bara fanns en handduk och en badrock trots att vi hade bokat dubblerum, samt att vatten på flaska kostade extra till frukost.Bra spa med pool och jacussi

Rekommenderas
Underbart hotell. Rent, fräscht, bekväma sängar, utmärkt wi-fi, perfekt läge, god mat, fint spa och underbar personal. Jag kan göra listan lång. Det enda negativa är att jag en vecka efter hemkomst ännu inte fått tillbaks min depositionsavgift. Men den kommer väl snart hoppas jag. Kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell när ni besöker Sofia.

Stayed for 2 nights. But roof bar had private party both nights so could not check it out. Other than that, this hotel was great. Will stay here next time in Sofia.

Hotellet var så sjukt bra! Frukosten hade allt man önska Personalen var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam Rummet var grymt bra Massa gratisprodukter som hotellet gav som tex tofflor En mysig takbar med vacker utsikt Finns verkligen ingenting att klaga på!

Över vår förväntan!
Vi bokade rum på Sense för en konferens i Sofia. På bilderna på hotels.com såg det fint ut, men verkligheten var ännu bättre. Vi bokade ett standard dubbelrum och blev överraskade av att vi fick terass på rummet. På hotellet, våning 9, finns en takbar med bra utsikt och trevlig personal. Det blev ett par besök där över helgen. På fredag och lördag kväll hade de hög musik i takbaren, vilket hördes ner till vårt rum som låg på våningen under. Det höll på till ett på natten och störde inte oss, men är man känslig för ljud kan det nog vara en bra idé att be om ett rum längre ner. Frukosten var standard internationell frukost, inget märkvärdigt. På flyget hem till Sverige igen konstaterade vi alla att vi ville åka tillbaka till Sense. Bra hotell, som rekommenderas!

Beautiful hotel, great area, service needs work
This hotel was a great value because it was beautiful and in a great location. My room was huge and luxurious. Breakfast was really good if relatively limited choices. My only complaint was the service. They were pleasant at check-in, but they gave me a room on the 8th floor. When I mentioned that all the reviews said not to get a room on an upper floor because the noise from the rooftop bar, they accommodated me, but identified me as “noise-sensitive”. Bigger problem was that reception said I would not need a reservation for the rooftop bar after 11:00 PM (which admittedly I though was odd for a Saturday night if it was such a local hotspot). So I went to dinner, and when I came back around midnight, I went up to the bar and it was heaving, of course. The hostess was borderline rude, and had me sit at a table outside of the main bar area. After waiting for 10 minutes with no further attention, I went back up to the hostess station and asked if I could order a drink, and she begrudgingly took my order and then delivered the drink a couple minutes later. As I was finishing my cocktail and getting ready to leave, she came up and told me they had a place at the bar for me and when I declined, she seemed a little annoyed with me. Check out was also a little clunky, because even with a deposit on file, which more than covered my charges, they ran another charge on my credit card, which made me a little uneasy and honestly, the explanation was not very clear.

This hotel is probably one of the best in Sofia! Locations is very good, all is within walking distance (then again Sofia is not that big of a city). The rooms are very spacious, the beds incredibly comfortable. Room equipped with coffeemachine and good stuffed mini bar. Bathrooms big and luxurious. Molton Brown products, als for sale. The spa is sufficient, one sauna, one steam room, a big swimming pool and one hot and one cold tub. Massages can be booked at the hotel against European prices. Breakfast is pricy, there is good but not as much choice of food. Personell is kind and helpfull. The hotel has a wonderful smell when you walk in. This hotel also has a rooftop bar, probably the best and bestknown in Sofia. Be sure to book a table as you will sit at the bar if you do not. Tables by the window can only be booked with have a minimum number of guests. Bit of a shame if there are 2 people who have to sit by the bar watching the tables by the window being emty. Hotel rate is expensive but worth your while.

Staff is great and are willing to help. The hotel is located in a perfect location overlooking great sights and close to everything. However, be prepared to hear loud music until midnight since the bar is on the top floor. We were in a suite and could not sleep until they closed the bar. Additionally, the pool is only available for one hour a day for kids under 14. Not a family hotel.

Frühstücksbuffett so klein, dass selbst der Koch schlechte Laune hatte. Tische und Platzangebot im Frühstücksraum war nur für das halbe Hotel vorhanden. Im Bad gab es nur kaltes Wasser zum Duschen. Die Suiten des Hotels sind direkt unter der Diskothek. Am Wochenende also kein Schlaf vor 3 Uhr morgens möglich. Die Suite war nicht sauber. Nur in Socken im Zimmer zu laufen, ist nicht empfehlenswert.

Nice but a few things can be improved
Overall a good experience but there’s poor noise reduction between rooms and corridors. Please note that smoking is allowed in bars and restaurants and there are no tables that are smoke free. The spa is very nice and the staff friendly.

An excellent hotel. Definitely 5 star service. Great room with a balcony in a central location. Food was good and cocktails were excellent in the ground floor restaurant. The rooftop bar had a lovely view, book ahead for a table as it was full most nights in our stay.

Fantastic location, facilities and feeling
Only a short walk from the Metro station (from airport) this hotel is set in a superb location overlooking the cathedral. I had the warmest of welcomes by the bell boy and reception staff (deposit for extras paid on arrival), check in was quick and key card operates the elevator. The hall ways smell of fresh carpet, the room is very modern by design and extremely clean, maintained this way all week by the very friendly and attentive staff. Lots of information about services, great mini bar and seamless WIFI. The Spa Facilities at the hotel are epic, a true escape from the day to day grind with pool, hot tub, cool tub, sauna and steam room. Spa staff are fantastic, treatments are incredible and cost effective. Rooftop bar is also amazing during the evening, for food and working during the day. One of the best hotels I have stayed at and I would recommend to anybody visiting the city.
