“Absolutely perfect little home to just get away and enjoy the sights of Norway! Was originally supposed to be just me but I ended up making some friends at the hostel I stayed at in Oslo so they tagged along on the drive with me. Totally forgot to change the reservation on the way there but Ragnar was more than welcoming when we arrived!! When we got there he gave me the run down of things in great detail which was very helpful and even had a little gift for us! I wish I could keep this little...

Its picturesque location was also perfectly situated in the center of many possible day excursions. Coming from the USA, it was a long journey getting here. “Even if the furniture is quite old, it is clean and totally adequate. It has a very cozy charme. The village is quite quiet and the loudest noise was that of the water stream not far from the house. The only thing that was interesting to put it mildly was the smell coming from the bathroom. One of the water drains was smelly, but you can manage by keeping the window open. All in all it is a cozy little place and we would visit again.”

Het uitzicht is onovertroffen en er zijn veel mooie en interessante (dag-) tochten te maken zoals de Nigardsbreengletsjer, de panoramaweg Sogndalsfjellet, maar ook de wandelingen naar Vardaheii enStorehaugen/ Storehogen is zeker de moeite waard. Op loopafstand is de veerboot naar Gudvangen of naar Flam, waar je een spectaculaire treintocht kan maken. Goede supermarkt dichtbij in Kaupanger. Zeker de moeite waard voor een...
