“Everything from the home itself to the responsiveness of the property owner was 5 stars! I would give 6 stars if able. The Silver Salmon Lodge is the perfect space for an Alaskan get away. The home was clean and cozy. It is close to anything you need in Sterling/Soldotna and a perfect midpoint if you are trying to enjoy Homer and Seward. The freezer was a big plus for keeping our fish frozen from the beginning to the end of the trip. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Alaska!”

“Nice place right on the ocean with very helpful hosts. We used this as a base camp/ retreat while we were exploring the area. Easy check in check out. Kitchen had all the utensils we needed for cooking, and freezer to put our fish in!”

“A cozy cabin with all the essentials but running water AKA Dry. Comfortable queen bed, pull out couch and a loft with couple of coats which we did not need or used. Small fridge and microwave. Chuck had a freezer in the cabin and allowed us to store our salmon during the stay. Chuck and Dorothy were gracious in setting up a propane cook top outside and also provided a pot, pan, dishes and cutlery which were perfect for the two of us making breakfast and dinner. “Very comfortable house. Owners were attentive if we had any questions, but otherwise gave us our space. Very convenient location! We made use of the hot tub and fire pit. Lots of covered space to keep shoes, waders, boots, poles, etc. WiFi worked well.”

“The cabin was very remote and quiet. It didn’t have coffee or a hair dryer but the camp host supplied us with all we needed. She was super helpful. I would suggest getting some games, cards, books since there’s no tv. Keep it with host and check them out as needed. Closer to town than we thought. We didn’t know the town of kenai was right nearby and it had better restaurants. Parradiso was excellent. We did see 3 noise right after we checked in. ”
