“The property was ideal for our purposes. The bedrooms were ideal (the master bedroom is HUGE!), the kitchen had everything we needed, and the porch/backyard were comfortable. The bluetooth speakers in the ceiling are a nice touch :)There was an issue with the pool during our stay, but the situation was addressed promptly by the property representatives. The owner has a management company responsible for the rental, which means they have a dedicated line for answering concerns. Ultimately, we had...

“The house was beautifully decorated, immaculate and very peaceful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was wonderful. We especially enjoyed coffee in the morning out on the screened in patio. Ashton, the host was extremely accommodating and sweet-she even left us a "Happy 4th of July" cake! The house was perfectly located as well. It was only a few minute walk to beautiful, charming downtown Mount Dora which was full of great boutiques, antique/vintage stores and amazing...

9. The Retreat - Fast Wi-Fi - Heart of Mount Dora

“The interior of the house is nice, clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. However the description of the outside, front and backyard needs to be more accurate, it’s not inviting, no curve appeal. The location is on a main street a 20-30min walk to the downtown attractions however is a 5-10 minute drive with ample available parking. Communication with staff was friendly and responsive.”

“The property was okay. It could use some TLC. In the bathroom, the towel holders and toilet paper holders are not attached very well to the wall. The baseboards are very dusty. The cabinets are dated throughout the entire house. The doors have stains on them, and any extra linen is thrown up on the shelving in the closet. The picture of the living room furniture is not accurate. The sofas in the living room are extremely uncomfortable and stained. The bedroom only had 1 nightstand, and a...

“The home was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean and centrally located. When we arrived, the pool accessory basket was in the pool but I’m assuming that was due to wind. We pulled it out and reorganized all of the pool toys. Additionally, there was a mixup during one afternoon when a family showed up to swim in the pool even though we had the whole home booked for the entire weekend. Apparently the homeowner also rents the pool out for the day. We informed the other family that we...
